Bob England, MD, MPH
Bob England, MD, MPH, is the Director of the Maricopa County Department of Public Health which is the 3rd largest local public health jurisdiction in the US. Dr. England received his BA and medical degrees from the University of Arizona and his Masters in public health from UCLA. He completed his public health residency with the University of California, Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Dr. England’s background includes serving as the Director of Disease Control for Pima County and Medical Epidemiologist for the State Health Department’s HIV program. He has been a public health physician his entire career, including various positions at local health departments in Arizona and in Connecticut. Dr. England has served twice as the State Epidemiologist at the Arizona Department of Health Services.
