Nicholas Vasquez, MD, FACEP

Nicholas Vasquez, MD, FACEP, began working at St. Josephs’ Hospital and Medical Center in 2005 as an emergency physician. In additional to providing medical care, he has focused on improving care quality. That has included a sepsis protocol as well as pneumonia quality. For several years he also focused on resident education within the department. Now he serves as a liaison to hospital administration on the Physician Clinical Council at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Vasquez has been an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians since 2005 and became a Fellow of the College in 2008. He has also been active in the local chapter, the Arizona College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Vasquez was the state chapter president in 2011. He also recently graduated as part of Valley Leadership’s 33rd class.

Dr. Vasquez obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Yale New-Haven Hospital in 2005. He also finished a Master’s Degree in Health Management at Arizona State University.

Most importantly, Dr. Vasquez and his wife Lisa were recently blessed with a daughter, Victoria Alejandra Vasquez.
